Corporate Donating

Companies and local businesses give to charity for a number of reasons and many include their employees in fundraising. In 2006 Autism Initiatives UK secured funding from companies local to our services. Here are some examples

St James’s Place Wealth Management in Edinburgh gave £1,000 towards the costs of refurbishing the Lothian Autism Information Resource within our Scottish Head Office.

Duncan Sheard Glass, our Accountants in Liverpool gave £500 towards the cost of producing our 2005/06 Annual Report.

Standard Life

Standard Life in Edinburgh printed copies of the information leaflet for Number 6. An in-kind contribution which saved us over £600.

Staff based in the Isle of Man offices provided financial support for the Oaks Resource Centre in Ramsay on the Isle of Man.

Royal Bank of Scotland match funded money raised by a Number 6 volunteer and donated £250 towards our work.

If you are employed by a company or local business, please consider suggesting Autism Initiatives UK as a recipient of a donation – whether cash or in-kind. We also have collecting tins which could be placed at the reception of your work.
