ASD Initiatives in Ireland

Service Provision
The Initiatives Group delivers services in Ireland under the banner of ASD Initiatives.

We will soon be providing two Residential Adult Services in Arklow (3 adults) and in Ashford (5 adults) both of which are in the garden of Ireland, County Wicklow.

We are currently in the process of setting up an autism specific adult Day Service facility in Wicklow town. This service will provide a variety of activities and a broad range of events for up to 20 adults. These will include community development initiatives, sporting activities, therapeutic activities and arts and crafts activities.

Fundraising Event for ASD Initiatives Ireland services
Staff ran in the Flora Women's Mini Marathon June 2006 to raise money for our valuable services. In the photograph below, staff members from Ireland services take a well earned rest after the event. They managed to raise €3,000 (around £2,100) and Amanda wore the swimming goggles as a dare for the whole race raising another £100!
