Activities for children & adults with autism

There is a huge range of activities for adults with autism, taking place on a regular basis right across the UK and in Ireland. Some activities will be social, some maybe around life skills and others may be enterprising.

Whatever the activity we offer, we know from experience that it will make an immense difference to the lives of those we support through the development of skills, a sense of well being and increased levels of confidence.

What’s on Offer?

We provide a flexible and eclectic range of activities and opportunities which people can access on a sessional or weekly basis. Whilst not an exhaustive list it includes:

  • Horticulture
  • Agriculture
  • Photography
  • Printing
  • Creative Arts
  • Music
  • Office Skills
  • Catering Skills
  • IT and Computer studies
  • Design Technology
  • Swimming
  • Trampolining
  • Forestry and nature
  • Conservation
  • Literacy and Numeracy

We support accreditation through the ASDAN Award Scheme.

We also identify and secure work experience and training opportunities for our adult service users and students at the Peterhouse FE College, both internally and with external organisations placements.

We are, of course, always willing to consider new activities and opportunities to support people preferences.
