In Partnership with the Education and Skills Funding Agency

The Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (AAN) is a group of employers, chaired by David Meller. David Meller joined the Department for Education as a non-executive board member in June 2013. Autism Initiatives have successfully supported a large number of apprentices in a variety of vocational areas. Due to our continued commitment to learning, development and skills, we were asked to be Ambassadors in 2014. As a highly recognised and committed employer we have attended a number of prestigious events in London and at the House of Commons.

We have worked on a number of projects with other employers to support them in funding changes and new national occupational standards. We were asked to be part of a government research project to review the implications of the new levy and the impact of upskilling existing staff and building skills with existing staff.

Autism Initiatives continue to invest in training and are committed to competency based vocational qualifications.  This will ensure we continue to provide a quality service for the people we support.
