Benefits

All permanent staff of Autism Initiatives and its subsidiary companies enjoy a wide range of benefits.


Annual leave

As a full time member of staff you will be entitled to 25 days leave plus public bank holidays. After 3 years of continuous service the leave days will increase to 26 rising to 28 after 4 years’ service and 30 days after 5 years’ service.If you work part time you will get a proportion of the holiday entitlement (pro rata) depending on how many days you work.

Pension scheme

Autism Initiatives use a workplace pension scheme for automatic enrolment.  Eligible jobholders will automatically be enrolled into the workplace pension  within 90 days of being assessed as eligible.  You will receive further information about your  jobholder status and rights within statutory communications. Once you are a member of the pension scheme you will receive a joiner pack from the pension provider. This will include comprehensive information about auto enrolment

Life assurance benefit

The organisation subscribes to a life assurance policy for all employees, which provides a “death in service” benefit of four times your salary.You are eligible for this benefit upon commencement of your employment, if activated the policy will pay the benefit to your nominated beneficiary. This does not apply to staff working in Ireland.

Flexible Working

We do our best to meet any requests for flexible working and look at each request on an individual basis.

Maternity benefits

Employees who have 2 years continuous service with the organisation at the 11th week before they are due to give birth will receive an additional benefit of 20 weeks half pay. This will be paid from week seven of maternity leave.

We offer a full range of opportunities for development from job specific core skills training through to all levels of National Vocational Qualifications, at all levels in the organisation you are encouraged to develop your own skills and take responsibility for your learning.
